An art gallery in an unexpected setting is a happy thing — for the venue, for the artists, for the patients, for the staff, and for everyone who uses the place.
Bringing art together with rehabilitation

For the users of the CSR LADAPT Châtillon
Bringing the CSR LADAPT Châtillon to life by hosting an exhibition can offer many benefits, both for the hospital and for its patients.
Health promotion and awareness
Exhibitions can be designed to raise public awareness of specific health issues, such as disease prevention, the promotion of healthy habits and lifestyles, or a better understanding of patients' own medical conditions.
Strengthening the hospital's image
Hosting cultural and artistic events can help improve the image of a hospital that is concerned not only with medical treatment but also with the wellbeing of the community.
Engagement and connection
An opportunity to become more involved in, and more firmly rooted within, the local environment.
Exhibitions can attract a wide range of participants, including medical specialists, local artists and other professionals. This can encourage the creation of valuable partnerships.
Diversifying the hospital's activities
By offering cultural and artistic activities alongside medical and paramedical care, the hospital can broaden its services and become a more inclusive place.
For artists and craft artisans
Exhibiting in the right setting
The venue has been surveyed and adapted to the needs of an art gallery. It lends itself particularly well to displaying works under good lighting against a white background. Les Grands Voisins ensure a professional presentation of the works on site.
Committing locally
The artist or craft artisan takes part in the work of rebuilding lives, which is the core business of the CSR LADAPT Châtillon. It means being part of a whole — one that listens closely, not least to its social workers and physiotherapists.
Benefiting from the gallery's activities
Arrangements are fully coordinated with the hanging and take-down operations (events) and with communications, in keeping with the requirements of the CSR Châtillon.
Selling
Although there is a degree of risk, part of which is unfortunately borne by the artist, we provide for the possibility of selling at no extra cost (save for a possible contribution to the costs incurred by Les Grands Voisins).
Why not?

The Les Arts Voisins galleries exist to invite art beyond the walls — that is, into places where it is not expected — in order to:
- Foster neighbourhood life
- Bring art into the everyday life of the general public
- Give value to our local cultural heritage
- Shine a light on local artists
The main challenge is to respect the neutrality of the venue while introducing the subjectivity of art. That is why we pay particular attention to what the social workers have to say, without getting in their way.
